I shot this quick little video today about how to make a DIY flash diffuser using cardboard, tinfoil, and wax-paper to put over your DSLR’s pop-up flash, to help make it useable (as apposed to the pop-up flash as it comes from the factory, which i consider completely unusable for any decent photography).
